RoundUp is used to kill weeds, grass, poison ivy and tree stumps for the general public and used as a bi-active herbicide for commercial farming. Glyphosate (Roundup) is one of the most toxic herbicides, and is the third most commonly reported cause of pesticide related illness among agricultural workers. Products containing glyphosate also contain other compounds, which can be toxic. DANGERS: toxic to earthworms, beneficial insects, birds and mammals and destroys the vegetation on which they depend for food and shelter, learning disabilities and behavior problems in children, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nerve, and respiratory damage, reproductive damage as well as damage to the kidney and liver, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, shall I go on? And yet the EPA and FDA idly stand by and watch us rot away… But HEY! Don’t worry people… Instead of pulling RoundUp off the market they simply genetically modified the crops to withstand RoundUp. How AWESOME is that!
